We primary focus on functionalist style design, chairs and other furniture, lighting, miscellaneous accessories and articles of daily use. Our aim is presenting the 20th century design classics with an emphasis on the 1930s to 1950s extended over to the ‘60s - ´70s.
Czechoslovak „Functionalism“, Art Deco, the impact of Expo Bruxelles 58 and further crucial stages of design and art production in the past Czechoslovakia are to be presented.
We present items before and after restoration as well as partly restored pieces.
Within preserving an authenticity of particular items we rather prefer to abandon the restoration in order to present a real piece of history with a story and also an availability of final restoring in his own fine taste. We’d love to bring back the lost splendor and the beauty of forgotten or neglected unique objects of design.We also keep trying to make a unique and an original production of selected designers available to design lovers and enthusiastic.
